Our Company Mission is to be the leading on-line retailer of kitchen and Bathroom sinks, taps and accessories in the UK and to constantly deliver a high level of customer satisfaction.
Company History
Established in 1999, with people who collectively have over 35 years experience in the kitchen industry, Kitchen Appliances Direct Limited (KAD Limited) began with a showroom & warehouse in Bradford, West Yorkshire. Within two years we outgrew our premises and moved to new building over 5 times the size in Leeds. Our Bradford premises were kept for storage and distribution and our Leeds premises houses our sales and admin staff. It also displays over 160 products from some of the best manufacturers in the world. With a dedicated team we pride ourselves on the amount of returning customers and recommendations we achieve on a regular basis. In 2004 we developed our interactive SINKS-TAPS.COM website to offer our customers a wide range of the world’s leading sink and tap products on one dedicated website.
What makes us different?
Unlike the majority of Internet retailers we actually handle all our products. Over 1000 products are available and the majority of those are kept on the shelf for immediate dispatch. Our own warehouse staff pick your order, open every single product and inspect it carefully for any minor faults or damage. Once passed, your complete order is then forwarded to our dispatch department where your order is carefully packed ready for delivery.
We add additional protective packaging and in most cases the product is ‘double boxed’ to ensure it is delivered undamaged. As a Company we suffer from extremely low damage in transit and also minimal picking errors as every product undergoes our rigorous inspection process.
Our Staff are some of the most dedicated, well trained and helpful people you will come across in the industry. We openly publish our contact telephone numbers and positively encourage our customers to call and speak to one of our staff if you require additional help or information.
We only sell, quality brand name products we can promote with confidence. Cheap, inferior and poor quality products imported from the Far East are not products we actively source.
